About Advanced Electrolysis
Discreet. Refined. Results-Driven.
At RENEW Wellness Spa, we use advanced European electrolysis technology trusted by elite skin specialists across the globe. This premium device allows for precise, non-invasive treatments, from true permanent hair removal to the cosmetic correction of various superficial skin irregularities.
Permanent Hair Removal
Electrolysis is the only FDA-recognized method for permanent hair removal. Unlike laser, which targets pigment and may only reduce growth, electrolysis treats each individual follicle, regardless of hair color, skin tone, or texture.
What to expect:
• A certified specialist inserts a fine, sterile probe into the hair follicle’s natural opening.
• A gentle electric current or heat is applied to permanently disable the follicle’s growth center.
• Hair is released without pulling, leaving the skin smooth and hair-free.
Common areas: chin, upper lip, bikini line, underarms, areolas, stomach, and toes.

Cosmetic Skin Refinement
We also offer non-surgical aesthetic correction for various visible skin concerns using a safe, pinpoint technique. This gentle current shrinks, dries, or reduces the appearance of unwanted surface imperfections with minimal discomfort or downtime.
Conditions We Can Address:
• Skin Tags: Small, soft, benign growths often found on the neck, underarms, or eyelids.
• Milia: Tiny, white keratin-filled cysts under the skin, typically near the eyes or cheeks.
• Sebaceous Hyperplasia: Yellowish, donut-shaped bumps caused by overactive oil glands, usually on the forehead or cheeks.
• Cherry Angiomas: Bright red vascular spots (smooth or slightly raised) caused by dilated capillaries.
• Broken Capillaries / Thread Veins: Fine, red blood vessels visible just beneath the skin, often on the nose or cheeks.
• Seborrheic Keratosis: Waxy, raised patches (light to dark brown) that appear with age, often on the face or torso.
• Spider Naevi: Red central dot with fine vessels radiating out, typically seen on the face or upper chest.
• Campbell de Morgan Spots: Red to purple flat lesions, usually round and increasing with age.
• Xanthelasma: Soft, yellowish cholesterol deposits, typically near the inner corners of the eyes
.
• Warts / Verrucae: Viral skin growths (often rough and persistent) on the hands, feet, or elsewhere.
• Dermatosis Papulosa Nigra: Small, dark papules seen on deeper skin tones, commonly on the cheeks, neck, and forehead.
• Non-changing Moles (with PCP approval): Stable in shape and color, evaluated case by case for cosmetic reduction only.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Is electrolysis really permanent?
Yes. Electrolysis is the only FDA-approved method for true permanent hair removal. Unlike laser, it doesn’t rely on pigment, making it effective on all skin types and hair colors.
What does it feel like?
Most clients describe it as a quick, warm sensation, similar to a tiny zap. Discomfort is mild and manageable, and the probe never pierces the skin.
How many sessions will I need for hair removal?
Hair grows in cycles, so multiple sessions are required. Frequency depends on the area, growth pattern, and consistency of appointments. We’ll tailor a plan just for you.
Can I treat more than one concern in the same visit?
Yes. Many clients combine hair removal with cosmetic blemish refinement. We’ll always guide you on what’s safe and effective to treat at once.
Can you remove a mole or dark spot?
We treat certain stable, non-changing moles only with prior PCP approval or documentation. For anything questionable, we’ll refer you to your physician.
Do you treat all skin tones?
Absolutely. Our technology is safe and effective on all Fitzpatrick skin types, including darker complexions.
Is there downtime?
Most clients return to normal activity immediately, though some areas may appear slightly pink or dry for 24–48 hours. You’ll receive clear aftercare instructions.
Can I send a photo before booking?
Yes, and we encourage it. Send us a clear, well-lit photo and we’ll let you know if the issue is treatable and what next steps look like.
The professional staff at RENEW welcomes clients 7 DAYS / WEEK from 7am-7pm.
